Alaska CE Requirements
Please understand that massage laws change frequently and vary from state to state. We will try to provide you with the most current information possible.
Effective November 2024, Alaska massage therapists are required to complete 16 CE hours (credits) every 2 years for license renewal. Of those 16 hours, 2 must be in ethics, such as our Ethics in Massage - Roles and Boundaries course. Alaska massage therapists are also required to complete a course in CPR. Because we are an NCBTMB approved provider, it is our understanding that you can take all 16 of your CE hours through us for license renewal.
We have created discounted course packages that will meet your 16 CE hour requirement.
You can verify this information or contact the state of South Dakota with further questions by calling them at 907-465-3811 or visiting the Alaska Board of Massage.
Please note that all of our courses can be used for NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) recertification, our approved provider number is 409296-00. You may also use any of our CE courses for renewal with organizations such as the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).
