Florida CE Requirements
Please understand that massage laws change frequently and vary from state to state. We will try to provide you with the most current information possible.
Updated September 30, 2025. It is our understanding that currently, Florida massage therapists are required to complete 24 CE hours every 2 years. Florida therapists renew every odd numbered year on or before August 31. We are an approved provider for the state of Florida and our hours are approved as "general" hours so you can complete up to 12 CE hours from us including your required courses. The other 12 hours must be taken in a classroom setting. Our Florida approved provider number is 50-7946.
Of those 24 CE hours, therapists must complete the following required coursework:
- At least 2 CE hours in Ethics
- At least 2 CE hours in prevention of medical errors
- At least 2 CE hours in Florida Laws and Rules
- At least 1 CE hour in Human Trafficking

Please note that all of our courses can be used for NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) recertification, our approved provider number is 409296-00. You may also use any of our CE courses for renewal with organizations such as the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).
