The 9 CE hour Traditional Thai Massage will introduce you to Thai massage principles and techniques that you can instantly incorporate into your massage practice. Thai massage is a fluid modality which uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. It is traditionally performed with the client clothed and on a mat on the floor rather than a massage table. This course outlines a brief history of Thai medicine and then explains basic theories, methods, and techniques used in performing Thai massage. A full body Thai massage session is outlined and also includes a 45 minute DVD demonstrating techniques and the pacing of movements.
